EducatingHealthProfessionalsinInterprofessionalCare2014Cathrin Carithers, Sandra Berryman, Bill Buron, Carol EnderlinFour College of Nursing faculty attended a three day conference March 26-68, 2014.  The conference, Educating Health Professionals in Interprofessional Care, was presented by the University of Toronto at UAMS.  Four dozen attendees from across colleges of UAMS worked in teams to learn about interprofessional education (IPE) and and interprofessional collaboration (IPC) and develop future plans for expanding UAMS IPE/IPC opportunities. Dr. McSweeney Dr. Jean McSweeney, Dr. Bobby McGehee, Dr. Nancy RuschAt the Graduate School Spring Reception Dr. Bobby McGehee, Dean of the UAMS Graduate School, announced that Dr. Nancy Rusch and Dr. Jean McSweeney were selected as UAMS Graduate Faculty of the Year.Dr. McSweeney, Director of the Nursing PhD Program, was selected for this award based on her mentoring of PhD students and publishing over 20 manuscripts with PhD students!Jean is an active researcher at the local, regional, state, national, and international level, and we are so pleased that she is here at UAMS.Please join us in congratulating Dr. McSweeney for all she does to help our students and put our PhD program
