Welcome to the UAMS College of Nursing Innovative Practice and Simulation Center (The Center). The nearly 7000-square-foot center spans the core of the 5th floor of the Education II building and Shorey Lab, providing a safe learning environment for nursing students at every stage of their education (BSN through DNP). Using state-of-the-art equipment, the center focuses on providing a safe learning environment for comprehensive skills labs and innovative simulations that are evidence-based and culturally sensitive. We are staffed by specialists in active learning and simulation who work collaboratively with faculty to grow student skills and enhance critical thinking.
Hours of Operation 8:00- 4:30, Monday through Friday

Students are welcome to practice in the facility whenever space is available; please contact either Fermin, Brook, or Chasity.
