Ready to make a career change and answer the call to nursing? The UAMS College of Nursing Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program provides an exciting, fast-paced pathway to earn your BSN in just 12 months.
With locations in Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas (Fayetteville), you can choose the UAMS campus that works best for you while preparing for a rewarding career in nursing.
This full-time, intensive program is designed for individuals who have already earned a bachelor’s degree or higher in any field. Students complete nursing coursework and hands-on clinical experiences within the geographic area of their selected campus.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or higher and complete 58 hours of required prerequisite coursework. Many of these prerequisites may already be included in your previous degree.

The Accelerated BSN program does not require applicants to take the ATI TEAS test. (The Traditional BSN program may require applicants to take the ATI TEAS exam.)
