Master of Nursing Science Program

This degree program, which leads to the Master of Nursing Science, is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The UAMS Master of Nursing Science Program prepares nurses as advanced practice registered nurses, as nurse administrators, or as nurse educators. Tracks include Nurse Practitioner and Nurse-Midwife.

Important Note

The Nursing Administration master’s specialty will admit in the fall semester. The Master of Nursing Science Nursing Administration specialty application deadlines will be in the spring (for fall admission) each year. Students who choose Nursing Administration are not eligible to complete the nurse practitioner-focused Post-BSN-to-DNP program.
