The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is a member of and is accredited by the The Higher Learning Commission.
The baccalaureate programs of the UAMS College of Nursing are approved through the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. The College of Nursing completed its last five-year approval process in 2024 and was approved for the maximum term of five years. The baccalaureate degree in nursing, master’s degree in nursing science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and post-graduate APRN certificate programs at the UAMS College of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through 2035.
The UAMS DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program is accredited through the fall of 2035 by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA). The COA offices are located at 10275 W.
