November 4, 2019: The doctor of nursing practice (DNP) degree program in the College of Nursing is accredited through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through Dec. 31, 2020. The College will be hosting its on-site CCNE visit as part of reaccreditation on Feb. 10-12, 2020. CCNE welcomes written third-party comments to provide input into its deliberations. Only signed comments, written in English, are accepted by CCNE. Third-party comments may be submitted at the address below or by email until Jan. 20, 2020.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is a member of and accredited by the The Higher Learning Commission. The baccalaureate program of the College of Nursing is approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. The baccalaureate degree in nursing, master’s degree in nursing science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and post-graduate APRN certificate programs at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The Nurse Anesthesia Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Nursing is accredited through the fall of 2025 by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).
