The White Coat Ceremony is a momentous event celebrating the transition from didactic coursework into the clinical education portion of the nursing profession. We are happy to provide the opportunity to virtually allow families, friends, faculty, and alumni, to be a part of your journey as you are “cloaked” with your first white lab coat. This ceremony calls particular attention to your choice to be part of a profession that will build your scientific knowledge, clinical discernment, passion, and ability to provide unparalleled patient care.
“As a student of nursing, I understand that my professional responsibility begins today with my entrance into this professional college community. Therefore, I pledge to uphold these values in the performance of all my activities as I advance toward full membership in the profession of nursing.”
