Effective May 1, 2017, the University of Arkansas tuition discount policy has changed.
The UAMS College of Nursing BSN and RN to BSN programs are eligible for the UA tuition discount policy as follows:
- Full-time UA employees may take up to 132 undergraduate semester credit hours at any UA academic institution and receive a 50% tuition discount.
- Spouses and dependent children of full-time UA employees may take up to 132 undergraduate semester credit hours at any UA academic institution and receive a 50% tuition discount at the employee’s home campus or a 40% tuition discount at any other UA campus.
The UAMS College of Nursing MNSc and DNP programs are not eligible for a tuition discount.
Full-time UAMS employees who were actively enrolled and receiving a 90% tuition discount in the BSN, RN to BSN, or MNSc programs prior to May 1, 2017 will continue to receive a 90% tuition discount until graduation from the enrolled program. In order to maintain this grandfathered tuition discount, students must remain employed full-time and actively enrolled.
