Post-Graduate Certificate, Non-degree Seeking Program
Applicants must have previously or currently be certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in order to meet eligibility for the AGAC Transition program. Upon completion of the AGAC transition curriculum, students will be eligible to sit for the new certification exam – Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. This is a non-degree-seeking program.
Eligibility
- Currently or previously certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Unencumbered Arkansas RN and APRN licenses
- Prescriptive Authority
- Up-to-date Criminal Background check
Requirements
- Complete one 4-credit-hour theory course
- Complete one 4-credit-hour clinical course (360 hours)
- Complete both courses in one semester
- Eligibility to take the certification exam upon completion
