UAMS College of Nursing’s White Coat Ceremony for both our graduate and undergraduate programs. Please mark your calendars for this momentous occasion, as we celebrate the transition from didactic coursework into the clinical education portion of the nursing profession.
This special event is dedicated to our graduate and undergraduate nursing students, as they embark on the next phase of their nursing journey. The White Coat Ceremony serves as a symbolic milestone, emphasizing your dedication to building scientific knowledge, clinical discernment, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care.
We are pleased to announce that this year, we are offering the opportunity for your families, friends, faculty, and alumni to join virtually and/or in person ensuring that everyone can be a part of this memorable event. Even in a digital format, we aim to create an inclusive experience that honors your accomplishments.
“As a student of nursing, I understand that my professional responsibility begins today with my entrance into this professional college community. Therefore, I pledge to uphold these values in the performance of all my activities as I advance toward full membership in the profession of nursing.”
