Conference Overview

Arkansas Nursing Research Day is a statewide conference dedicated to advancing nursing research and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration among healthcare professionals, faculty, staff, and students. For over a decade, this event has provided a platform to showcase nursing research that drives evidence-based practice and improves healthcare outcomes. This year’s conference will emphasize team science, highlighting the power of collaboration in addressing complex healthcare challenges.  Attendees will engage in multidisciplinary panel discussion and breakout sessions,  promoting the exchange of innovative methodologies and insights, shaping the future of nursing research and practice.

Theme: Nursing Excellence: Using Research to Advance Science and Practice 

Objectives

  • Participants will analyze the impact of violence as a public health crisis and propose interdisciplinary intervention strategies.
  • Participants will apply evidence-based approaches to mitigate health disparities in diverse populations, focusing on maternal and childhood health outcomes.
  • Participants will evaluate opioid impact on vulnerable populations, ESC implementation, and prevention of adolescent drug misuse.”
  • Participants will examine methods to conduct or disseminate research, including quality improvement, AI applications, and abstract development, to advance knowledge and inform strategic innovations in nursing research.
