Becky May (left), class of 1961, is a great example of one who has consistently shown support to her alma mater, the UAMS College of Nursing. Becky served on our College’s 60th anniversary committee, is a member of the Dean’s Circle, has participated in focus groups for the alumni society , met with examiners of the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and was one of the organizers of the Dr. Elizabeth O’Connell Endowed Scholarship several years ago. Always one to lend a helping hand, Becky has volunteered to help our College find more of its alumni and encourage their support as “cheerleaders.” Becky recently had lunch with Dr. Jean McSweeney, our Interim Dean. Becky is retired as a nurse at the Arkansas Health Department. She and her husband Bill, also retired, have two daughters and one granddaughter. Becky and Bill live in Little Rock.
