Twelve College of Nursing students, accompanied by College of Nursing professor Dana Dorman, visited The Anthony School in Little Rock on April 16 to provide scoliosis screening, which is required by the State of Arkansas, to 77 sixth, seventh and eighth grade students. The trip to The Anthony School is typical of the community service, clinical education nursing students receive at UAMS. The invitation to provide screening was extended to the College by Sara Jouett, who serves as the Chair of the UAMS College of Nursing Advisory Board and is also on the Board of Trustees of The Anthony School. The photographs here are reflective of the educational and fun experience at the school.
