At a recent ceremony at the UAMS College of Nursing, we thanked donors who made it possible for all students in the inaugural Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program to receive a full scholarship. The greatest help came from the bequest of Mrs. Johnnie Moum. Mrs. Moum’s estate gift to the College provided dollar-for-dollar matching funds for each of the 19 scholarships. This meant each donor’s gift was doubled!
Mrs. Moum’s nephew, John Allison, and Mrs. Moum’s niece, Ann Harris, attended, each receiving a thank you card signed by all 19 DNP students.
