This year’s UAMS Graduate School Research Induction White Coat Ceremony was held on Monday, September 28th, at 3:00p.m. in I. Dodd Wilson 126 Lecture Hall. The ceremony was held to honor those Doctor of Philosophy degree students who have successfully passed the Ph.D. qualifying exam, identified their mentor, and are now involved in dissertation research. Each student was “coated” by her mentor and the Director of the Nursing PhD Program. A reception was held after the ceremony. The college of Nursing PhD students being “coated” during the ceremony were (Standing left to right) Jamie Jones, Leah Richardson, (seated) Brandy Haley, Sloan Davidson, Crystal Gillihan, Christine Felts.
