The Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, housed on the Little Rock campus, is designed for students who have completed 58 semester hours of required general education courses from an accredited college or university and who wish to pursue their education to become licensed registered nurses.
Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
Do you currently have a bachelor’s or higher education degree? Are you looking to change career fields? UAMS College of Nursing is now offering an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program.
The program is full-time, and is located at the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus in Fayetteville. Admitted students will complete course work and clinical rotations in this area. The curriculum leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing requires the completion of 58 semester hours of required general education courses, which may be completed at any regionally accredited college or university.
Both Programs
Applicants must complete and successfully pass the Assessment Technologies Institute Test of Essentials Academic Skills. This exam must be completed at the applicant’s personal expense prior to March 1 of the year of application and an official score report from www.ATITesting.com must be submitted by the application deadline. Minimum adjusted individual total score must be 65% or greater (rounding does not apply) to be considered for admission.
