Traineeship Stipend (HRSA) For Primary Care NP Students

Primary care NP students (Family, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics, or Psychiatric Mental Health) who live in rural counties (outside Pulaski County) are eligible to apply for traineeship stipend beginning July 1, 2016, to July 25, 2016. The traineeship money will cover tuition, books, fees, and a reasonable expense for the fall and spring semesters. The amount of money is ranges from $5,053.00 to $5,493.00 depending upon the number of credits hours each semester.

First priority is given to students who are of a minority group, male, or first generation college student who are living in a rural county and working part-time. Students who are currently receiving a stipend or scholarship money from other HRSA funding, or who receive full veterans benefits are not eligible to apply.
