The curriculum for the doctoral program focuses on preparing the graduate for the advancement of the art and science of nursing through research and scholarship. Through coursework and electives, the student can focus his or her role in the area of nurse scientist, clinician, administrator, or educator.
We are frequently asked about opportunities for coursework on the Internet. Most of our doctoral courses are blended or web-enhanced so students may attend classes face to face monthly, with the remainder taught via Blackboard. Some courses are offered only through face-to-face contact.
