Eligibility & Curriculum

The UAMS College of Nursing offers a baccalaureate program in professional nursing and is fully accredited by the National League for Nursing (NLN) and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Admission to the nursing program requires successful completion of a minimum of 64 hours of required general education courses. Licensed RNs who hold a bachelor's degree in an non-nursing field only have to meet the post-baccalaureate list of prerequisites. All prerequisites may be taken at any accredited college or university.

The BSN Completion and Articulated BSN/MNSc program is offered part-time and full-time. Scheduling of classes is a two calendar year period for part-time study and nine months for full-time study.
