Internet Service
Unless you have a
network connection, you will need to sign up for a dial-up Internet
service like Prodigy, AOL, Net Zero, Juno, AT&T, etc.
(AOL causes a few problems with Blackboard Learning System CE 4.1 (BBLS CE 4.1) but will work if minimized
and entered through Netscape or Internet Explorer, however you will
have to uninstall the Netscape that comes with it and download a
full version from the internet).

After installing either
Netscape or Internet Explorer, you will need to follow the following
steps to enable Java and JavaScript. In Netscape, select edit,
preferences, advanced, and make sure all the Java options are
activated. In Internet Explorer, choose tools, internet options,
advanced, and make sure the options under Java VM are activated.
