Graduate Assistantship Application & Fact SheetGraduate Assistantship/Student Stipend Eligibility: Any fulltime (10 hours)
College of Nursing doctoral student is eligible to apply, except for BSN to PhD
students, in their first 20 hours of study. Recipients will be recommended by
the Dean of the College of Nursing. Consideration will be given to GPA,
employment status, and student match with faculty research or teaching. The
highest priority will be given to students who plan to attend the doctoral
program full-time and not pursue outside employment. § One 10-month assistantship and one 12-month assistantship are designated for new entering PhD students. § One 10-month assistantship and one 12-month assistantship are designated for continuing students. § BSN to PhD students are not eligible to apply for an assistantship until after completion of 20 credit hours at the graduate level in his/her program of study.
