Faculty Research Interests/Projects:
Breast Cancer and Early Detection - Teaching Materials and Appeal to Minorities - Exercise and Cancer Therapy Outcomes

Currently my funded research is in the following three areas of cancer prevention and control:

  • Testing nursing interventions to improve symptom management in cancer
    patients undergoing treatment.
     
  • Improving nurse sensitive outcomes for patients with cancer.
     
  • Familial risk for multiple myeloma.
