Paul Ropp, DNP, MSNc, BSN, RN

Paul Ropp, DNP, MSNc, BSN, RN is entering his second year of his PhD degree in Nursing at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Nursing. Paul has a Doctorate of Nursing Practice but realized he needed his PhD to pursue clinical research. He has a long-standing interest in research, and chose the PhD program because it offers a wide range of opportunities for research, and collaboration with multidisciplinary professions in the health care field, and for individual mentoring.

Ayasha Thomason, MNSc

Ayasha Thomason, MNSc is pursuing her PhD degree in Nursing at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Nursing. Her focus is turning clinical situations into research studies.

Stephanie Kitch, BSN

Stephanie Kitch, BSN, is pursuing her post BSN to PhD degree in Nursing at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Nursing. She was introduced to the PhD program and one-on one mentoring during a summer internship available through the BSN program. She chose the BSN to PhD route to focus specifically on research, and to continue to receive mentoring and form collaborative relationships with faculty.

Jason Ketcher, BSN, is pursuing his Master’s degree in Nursing at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Nursing.  The College is helping him achieve his goal of reaching a leadership position in nursing.
