College of Nursing PhD student receives Outstanding Achievement Award
Ayasha Thomason (left), College of Nursing PhD student,for receiving a John A. Hartford Pre-doctoral Fellowship. The nationally competitive Predoctoral Fellowship of $100,000 is aimed to increase academic gerontological nursing capacity by increasing leadership and accelerating academic research careers. Her primary mentor is Dr. Leanne Lefler (right), PhD in the College of Nursing and her secondary mentor is Dr. Richard-Davis, M.D. in the College of Medicine at UAMS.
