Award Nominations for 2008 Gamma Xi
Annually, the Gamma Xi Chapter of STTI seeks
to recognize those people who promote and uphold
excellence within the profession of nursing. Members can
be recognized in the following areas: Leadership,
Nursing Practice, Fostering Professional Standards and
Nursing Education. A non-member can be recognized for
Scholarship.
The awards committee would like to encourage
the members of our chapter to nominate any active member
of the organization who has made significant
contributions to nursing in one of the designated areas.
If you wish to make a nomination, please complete the
form below or e-mail the chair of the Gamma Xi Awards
Committee explaining how the nominee meets the criteria
identified below. E-mail address: shangie1996@sbcglobal.net
. Please keep nomination
information brief.
After nominations have been received, the
Awards Committee will ask each nominee to complete a
resume and include the names of three individuals to be
used as references. The committee will then select the
award recipients on the basis of information submitted
for each award category. Nominations will cease April 1,
2008. The award winners will be recognized at the
Spring Induction Ceremony on April 13, 2008.
Please nominate one person per category and support
