Undergraduate Faculty

BSN Faculty — full-time (1 position)

This is a non-tenure track, 12-month, full-time faculty position.  The candidate will assume didactic and clinical teaching responsibilities within the baccalaureate nursing program teaching junior and senior level courses, with an emphasis on adult medical-surgical/critical care.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or higher nursing degree required. Doctoral degree preferred.
  • Current unencumbered Arkansas nursing license
  • Two years’ classroom and clinical teaching experience at the undergraduate level preferred
  • At least 3 years’ clinical experience in medical-surgical/critical care nursing

Graduate Faculty

DNP/MNSc Faculty − full-time (1 position)

This is a 12-month, full-time faculty position.  The candidate will assume teaching responsibilities within the DNP and Adult Gerontology Acute Care NP programs.

Qualifications:

  • DNP required
  • Unencumbered Arkansas RN; APRN licensure and current certification in AG-ACNP
  • Two years teaching experience at the graduate level, DNP/AGANCP preferred
  • Demonstration of scholarship related activities, e.g. published manuscripts, abstracts at conferences, grant funding, preferred
  • Been a preceptor for APRN students, preferred

This is a 12-month, full-time faculty position.  The candidate will assume teaching responsibilities within the DNP and graduate programs.

Qualifications:

  • DNP required
  • Unencumbered Arkansas RN nursing license
  • Nationally certified in one of the NP specialties, preferred
  • Currently practicing as an APRN, preferred
  • Demonstration of scholarship related activities, e.g. published manuscripts, abstracts at conferences, grant funding, preferred
  • Two years’ teaching experience at the graduate level, DNP preferred
  • Research design, analytics and/or informatics expertise preferred

Junior Research Faculty – full-time (2 positions)

This is a 12-month, full-time tenure track faculty position. The candidate will assume teaching responsibilities within the graduate programs and pursue a program of research.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s and PhD degrees in nursing
  • Completed/completing a Post-doctoral program
  • Teaching experience in a nursing program preferred
  • Evidence of a beginning program of research
