Graduate Faculty

DNP/FNP Faculty − full-time (2 positions)

This is a 12-month, full-time faculty position. The candidate will assume teaching responsibilities within the DNP and FNP programs.

Qualifications:

  • DNP required
  • Unencumbered Arkansas RN; APRN licensure and current certification in FNP
  • Two years teaching experience at the graduate level, DNP/FNP preferred

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner − part-time (50%) position

This is a 12-month, part-time (50%) faculty position. The candidate will assume teaching responsibilities within the Master of Nursing Science Psychiatric Mental Health specialty.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in nursing, doctorate preferred
  • Unencumbered Arkansas RN; APRN licensure and current certification
  • Teaching experience at the graduate level preferred
  • Evidence of an established Psych Mental Health NP practice preferred

ASSOCIATE DEAN

Associate Dean for Baccalaureate Education − full-time (1 position)

This is a 12-month, full-time administrative and faculty position that reports to the Dean of the College of Nursing.  The candidate will be administratively responsible for the coordination of the BSN Program, the RN-BSN Program, and RN to BSN/Master’s Program.  The candidate will teach and pursue scholarly educational activities in the College of Nursing.  The candidate will be expected to work closely with other Associate Deans and program directors to implement all aspects of baccalaureate education.

Qualifications:
•  PhD, EdD or DNP

  • Unencumbered Arkansas nursing license
  • Five years of teaching experience at the BSN or higher level
  • College administrative experience preferred
  • Eligible for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor on either the clinical or tenure track

Junior Research Faculty – full-time (1 position)

This is a 12-month, full-time tenure track faculty position. The candidate will assume teaching responsibilities within the graduate programs and pursue a program of research.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s and PhD degrees in nursing
  • Completed/completing a Post-doctoral program
  • Teaching experience in a nursing program preferred
  • Evidence of a beginning program of research
