This course is an INTENSE web-enhanced continuing education course for RNs.

TEN students must be enrolled for the class to open

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Nursing is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Arkansas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Cost: $325 ($275 for UAMS employees) which includes the syllabus and materials.  Some books will be available for purchase at the UAMS Bookstore or go online at www.nursing.uams.edu for other options.

Quizzes and final exam will be taken online via computer. If no home access, UAMS and possibly local AHEC centers have computers available.

Pre-Requisites: For RNs planning to enroll in the UAMS RN to BSN Program, there are two options to meet the prerequisite Health Assessment requirement for entry:

1.Order an official transcript to be sent to UAMS College of Nursing that shows a Health Assessment course for 3 credit hours taken at an accredited college or university.
2.Take the Health Assessment course offered by UAMS College of Nursing each fall and spring at UAMS or at one of the outreach sites.

1) Check for $325.00 ($275.00 if UAMS employee) or credit card information (supply in registration form listed below)
2) Completed Registration form
3) Photocopy of your nursing license
4) Completed UAMS confidentiality agreement (click on red link to retrieve form)
