Within the first week of classes, the Registrar's Office
received three phone calls reporting that our students are
parking illegally in the visitor’s parking lot. By doing so,
you are taking up a space that a family member or visitor could
be using. You are also setting yourself up to be “booted” and
eventually facing a huge fine.
DO NOT PARK
in visitor parking! UAMS Police will find/fine you!!
DO NOT
PARK
in a space designated for the disabled.
DO NOT PARK
in fire zones, or spaces marked “No Parking”!!
PLEASE park
in War Memorial Stadium and take the shuttle bus. If you are
coming to campus only once or twice a semester, the temptation
to park in visitor parking is even greater. Let me warn you
that UAMS Police is patrolling every day and
WILL
fine you for parking illegally. If you have any questions
concerning this issue, please e-mail or call Mary G. Robertson.
Assistant Dean for Student Services, (501) 686-5224.
