Goals for Nursing Learning Resource Center

The Nursing Learning Resource Center (NLRC) is dedicated to supporting the vision, mission, and philosophy of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Nursing.  The College of Nursing was founded in 1953.  Since that time, the primary purpose of the College of Nursing has been to provide excellent educational opportunities for students entering the nursing profession and for nurses seeking opportunities for further education.  The College of Nursing's vision is to teach, to serve, and to search.  The NLRC supports and encourages faculty and students in their educational endeavors, fosters community, and provides educational resources for clinical simulation environment in which to practice clinical skills.
