Nursing Learning Resource Center (NLRC)

Patty Dufrene, MSN, RN, CNS
Coordinator, NLRC

Welcome to the Nursing Learning Resource Center, which is located in the Education 2 Building on the 5th floor on the UAMS Little Rock campus.  I am a faculty member of the College of Nursing, Department of Education and the coordinator of the Nursing Learning Resource Center.  My role is to continue to develop and daily operate the NLRC to fulfill the vision, mission and philosophy of the College of Nursing (to teach, to serve, and to search).  I acquire new equipment and secures funding resources to modernize the skills instructions.  I am also available for tutoring students and consulting with faculty about teaching resources and have teaching and committee responsibilities in the College.

Below are the Student Workers who can assist you in the skills lab.  These workers carry out the tasks required to make the NLRC functional for skills teaching.  They are available to assist faculty and students with questions, signing out of equipment, delivering supplies, Xeroxing, and assisting with equipment use.

Let us know if you need a helping hand (or arm)!
