Spring 2010 Quick Reference Dates

You will need your student ID to complete the Advising Form.  The following button will allow you to look up your ID if you don't know remember.  

NOTE: Some brand new students may not have an ID # yet. If you receive "no records found" please use 111- the last 4 of your SSN on the Advising Form.

Master of Nursing Science Advisor's Form

This form went live on November 9, 2009 at 9:00 a.m.

Please read the following information very closely. 

College of Nursing MNSc Registration will be complete by December 31, 2009 .  To ensure that our MNSc  students will not be required to come to Little Rock for registration, they must complete the entire early registration process, including payment of fees. 

Please be sure to read and follow each of the steps listed below:

Step 1 (November 2 - 27, 2009)

Meet with advisor via phone, email, face-to-face, to discuss which courses you will be taking for the semester.

Step 2 (November 9 - 24, 2009)

Complete Advisor’s Form on-line. 

Master of Nursing Science Advisor's Form

Instructions for Master of Nursing Science Advisor's Form

1)  Fill in all blanks in the top section.

2)  Place a check next to the course numbers of those courses which you plan to take.

3) Hit SUBMIT.  The form will be submitted to a database.

All MNSc Advisor's Forms are due to the CON Registrar no later than 

November 27, 2009

Step 3 (November 9 - 27, 2009)

The registrar, Kristine Stump,  will submit the MNSc Advisor's Form to you advisor.  You do not need to email them.  The student will be entered in courses; fees and tuition will be entered; registration packets will be mailed to the students.

Student's will be mailed registration packets the week of 

December 4th, 2009.

Items included:

• Fee Sheet - This will show all courses in which student is enrolled and the total amount for tuition and fees.  Fees must be paid prior to the January 7, 2010 Registration Date.

• Proof Sheet - Student will be required to assure that all  proofs are up-to-date and send copies of all missing/expired proofs.  If any proofs expire prior to January 15, 2010 and the proof will be unavailable before registration, January 7, 2010, the student must attach a File Deficiency Contract.

Step 4 (December 4 - 31, 2009)

Complete and sign all paperwork included in the registration packet mailed to you, make sure all missing/expired proofs are included, and return packet to the College of Nursing Registrar:

Students who do not return all required paperwork and pay fees by the deadline will be required to attend registration.  NOTE:  Availability of courses will be on first-come-first-served basis.

UAMS Inclement Weather Policy
If, on the day of the scheduled registration, the UAMS inclement weather policy is in effect, registration will not be held. The registration scheduled for that day will be rescheduled at a later date.
