Assistant Dean for Student Services

The Student Services staff in the College of Nursing offers a wide variety of services to prospective and current students, and graduates of our programs.  We strive to foster applicant as well as student development from a first contact with our college throughout their tenure with us.  Our goal is “One Stop Shopping”!

College recruitment starts early. My mission as the Recruiter is to serve as the primary point of contact and to provide educational presentations at various events around Arkansas and the surrounding areas. My purpose is to assist prospective students with the admissions process and make them better prepared and more competitive when it is time to apply to UAMS CON.  I cover events such as college and community college fairs, clinics and hospitals, high school visits, expos, information sessions, exhibits and community functions.

 The Director of Admissions is responsible for reviewing and processing the educational information that begins with an application and ultimately leads to a degree from one of the nursing programs offered by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences--College of Nursing.  When you apply, my personal goal is to help guide you though the process that ends with the successful completion of your educational plan.

 My primary goal as the Registrar for the College of Nursing is to facilitate the academic experience of students enrolled in the College, from the time of registration to graduation through teamwork and friendliness.  I am available to assist students so that they can meet their educational goals in the most efficient manner possible.  I am also responsible for keeping all student records (past and present) and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of such records.
