Nursing Administration
The curriculum leading to the Master of Nursing Science Degree can be completed
through a full-time or part-time plan of study. Full-time study requires a
minimum of 10 semester hours per semester. The number of semester hours for the
Nursing Administration specialty is 40. Under the Graduate School policy, a
maximum of six (6) consecutive calendar years from date of first enrollment is
allowed for completion of all degree requirements.
Upon completion of the Nursing Administration advanced practice specialty,
graduates will be prepared to be effective & proficient in middle managerial to
top level leadership roles in the administration of health care delivery systems
in a variety of settings and will be prepared to take the ANCC Nursing
Administration Certification Exam.
