Dear Alumni:

The UAMS College of Nursing Alumni Association is constantly growing. The Alumni Association affords the following benefits: Alumni membership gifts, website, Recognition Ceremony & Reception for graduates, and an Alumni Induction Ceremony for New graduates. 

Each July we ask you to show your support for the College of Nursing by joining the alumni association. Please send your dues of $20.00. This money is used to support alumni activities and recognition. In May the College hosted an alumni induction ceremony to welcome all new graduates into the association. They received a decal, an alumni pin and a certificate of free membership for their first year.

In order to show our appreciation for your continued support we will send each of you who join a small gift from the alumni association.

I would like to bring to your attention another giving opportunity.

The nursing classes, 1996,98,99 and 2000 have all established Nursing Class Scholarship funds. Graduates are invited to make donations toward endowing these scholarships. The 1997 Scholarship is now fully endowed. Your donation can make you a part of the effort to carry on the legacy of your College of Nursing.

If you have a personal interest in honoring a friend or family member with a named scholarship please contact me to discuss possibilities at 501-686-5113. $25,000 will endow a named scholarship. The money is invested and scholarships are awarded annually from the interest accrued. This gift can be pledged over a five-year time frame or it can be made as a gift annuity
where you receive annual interest income for life. There are many options to make this possible.
